Our story

Weekly meetings that began in 2009 between the founding members are the basis for the creation of this organization. Many discussions and reflections between a doctor with 20 years of career, Dr. Hamza Sadi and four recipients of the Masters in Project Management of the class of 2006 of UQO are the backdrop. These founding members were from Algeria, Haiti, Rwanda and Burundi(Dr Hamza Sadi, Philippe Dieudonné, Aloys Sirabahenda, Maximilien Sikubwabo, Henry Moreau).

Discussions have often focused on the professional integration of immigrants trained abroad, on the functioning of professional orders in Canada and on the obstacles faced by professionals born and previously trained abroad when entering a profession....

Welcome from the President

It is a great privilege for me to have the opportunity to welcome you to this website on behalf of the Operational Team of the Aggregation of Foreign Born and Trained Professionals.

Of course, with the members of the RPNFE team and with your involvement, we can together aspire to advance the many issues that relate to the socio economic integration and cultural development of professionals with recent immigrant backgrounds in Canada.

This site is part of the actions agreed within the second strategic planning of 2015 - 2018 of the organization, which aims to transform the organization into an active benchmark for the professional integration of PROFESSIONALS BORN OR TRAINED ABROAD in Canada.

The AFBTP website is intended as a place of information, communication, training and advocacy for professionals with an immigrant background as well as for their descendants. Intended to be a tool for effectively dealing with the many cases concerning the economic integration of immigrants, refugees, professionals with recent immigrant backgrounds and their relatives. This is what motivated the creation of this website.

We wish you a good visit. Do not hesitate to contact us, whether it is for a request for services or for information.
